This Digital Content & Marketing Specialist role will be responsible for advancing and supporting the Firm’s reputation among purchasers of legal services and generating new business opportunities. This role is ideal for driven candidates who have an interest in business development and marketing in a global, fast-paced and intellectually stimulating organization. As part of the Marketing Communications team, this role will provide support for initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic plan and will require working closely and collaboratively with the rest of the Global Business Development & Marketing department.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Helps to shape the firm’s marketing communications strategy through collaboration with our worldwide team of marketing communications professionals and business development colleagues
Manages the firm’s process for developing, editing, vetting, and distributing marketing communications through legal updates, thought leadership campaigns and other communications initiatives
Manages and updates the firm’s website, and aligns web content—including resource centers, service and industry pages, and bios—with the firm’s guidelines and strategic goals
Analyzes performance metrics for marketing communications and ensuring timely referral of insights to business development colleagues and lawyers to enable them to carry out effective follow-up activities
Continuously considers ways to make marketing communications initiatives more productive and successful
Performs additional related projects as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, marketing, communications, English or other discipline that requires analytical and advanced writing and research skills
Experience reviewing, cleaning and structuring data for analysis
Professional Experience:
5+ years in a business development, marketing and/or research-related position in the professional services arena (e.g., law, accounting, or consulting) with a preference for law
Specific Technical Skills:
Able to understand and assimilate instructions quickly and work independently to achieve personal goals
Advanced understanding of HTML, Sitecore, and other website technologies
Experience in editing and polishing communications for a professional audience
Experience in planning and executing successful direct email campaigns
Advanced knowledge and extensive experience in working with the Microsoft Office Suite

The typical pay scale for this position is between $100,000 and $131,900, although the actual wage or salary could be lower or higher if the candidate’s education, experience, skills and internal pay alignment are different from those specified.
