Job DescriptionTheDepartment of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University OfMaryland School Of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member to expand our teamof Community and ED Radiology Specialists for professional services provided tothe Department's on and off-site ED departments. The successful candidate willhave a distinguishing blend of experience in general radiology and theopportunity to focus on sub-specialty areas of concentrated interest.
Thisposition is for a board certified, fellowship-trained Radiologist with stronginterests in ED operations to provide on-site and remote coverage for multiplelocations. Our clinical network is linked to the University of Maryland MedicalCenter, the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System's Baltimorecampus, by an enterprise-wide EMR driven PACS system, supported by voicerecognition dictation with seamless interoperability.
Openingsare currently available for a near future start date. Graduating fellows andothers that can start in July 2020 will also be considered. Work schedule willhave a strong focus on sustainability and a favorable work/life balance.Candidates should be comfortable with the broad scope of ED radiology (plainfilm, CT, and ultrasound). Experience with Neuro MR is a plus. There are noprocedures, nuclear medicine, or mammography requirements.
