Position Summary
The Safe Routes Partnership is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented professional with event planning experience to serve as project manager and lead implementer for our in-person conference and online summit, as well as to provide administrative support to our senior staff. In this role, you will coordinate with staff to implement all aspects of our biennial in-person conference, plus handle logistics for online events (annual summit and regular webinars). Outside of event planning, you will also provide administrative and operations support, including maintaining our Salesforce database. This position is part-time, at 30 hours per week and is fully remote.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking and Events and Operations Associate that can:
- Utilize their soft skills, problem solving, organizational skills, and rigorous attention to deal to ensure our events are professional and fun for attendees.
- Serve as project manager and lead implementer for the biennial in-person conference, online summit, and regular webinars to ensure tasks and deliverables are proceeding as scheduled, coordinating with assigned staff on their areas of responsibility.
- Engage with speakers, attendees, and volunteers in a timely and friendly manner to ensure that requirements are submitted and needed information is conveyed.
- Become an expert on the conference event management app to launch registration, keep the website updated, and launch the event app.
- Finalize the hotel and reception menu, meal counts, room setup, and A/V, while staying in budget.
- Coordinate with keynotes and session speakers on logistics and content for their sessions; finalize program and ensure it is accurate online and in printed program.
- Work closely with communications and senior staff on event messaging, swag, and scripts.
- Provide a range of administrative support to senior staff on other aspects of the organization, including scheduling meetings and formatting materials, and assist with operations tasks.
- Be tech-savvy and able to pick up new software with relative ease, and maintain the organization’s Salesforce database. Examples of software we currently use are Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Asana.

The pay range for this at-will position is $26 to $31 per hour, with an anticipated 30 hours per week of work (totaling $40,000 – $48,000 per year), depending on experience and qualifications. This position qualifies for health insurance benefits, paid time off, and optional participation in a deferred compensation plan. A PC computer, telephone, and internet access will be provided. Successful candidates will work from their home office.
