Description

Miles & Stockbridge, a mid-Atlantic based Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced finance associate to join its transactional finance real estate practice, preferably in our Baltimore, MD office but can be based in other offices for the right candidate. The candidate would support our traditional lender finance practice.  Candidates should have 2+ years of experience as either a real estate or commercial finance associate.  Ideal candidates will have experience representing local, regional and national financial institutions in a variety of lending transactions including real estate secured financing, affordable housing transactions and other commercial loans.  Attorney responsibilities will include working with partners on complex finance transactions, drafting and negotiating loan documents and other transaction documents, and due diligence review.

Requirements

A successful candidate will be a high performer who can demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills; have excellent academic credentials; be diligent and detail-oriented; and demonstrate an ability to work independently. JD required. Bar admission required or eligible to waive into the jurisdiction where the office is located.
