Job Summary
Under the supervision of the department supervisor, this role coordinates the daily operations of a Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) or Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). The coordinator supervises counseling staff, ensures members receive appropriate interventions to achieve recovery goals, and oversees the efficient delivery of on-site and off-site services. The position emphasizes coordination of care, adherence to recovery-oriented practices, and member goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support counseling staff within the program.
Ensure program participants receive appropriate interventions aligned with recovery goals.
Coordinate on-site and off-site services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Monitor adherence to the recovery model of service.
Assist in achieving member goals through appropriate interventions and care coordination.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human services or a related field preferred (additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, up to four years).
Five years of professional counseling experience providing mental health services, with preference for residential or psychiatric rehabilitation experience.
At least one year of experience in a lead or supervisory role overseeing counseling staff.
Current, valid Maryland drivers license may be required.
CPR certification required.
