Description

The Managing Director of Production services directs and oversees the high-level business, operational, and financial strategies required to execute production. This position provides the infrastructure and resources necessary to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Position Duties:

• Allocate studio space, equipment, staff and freelance talent pools to ensure multiple projects run concurrently and efficiently
• Develop and implement overarching department budgets, forecasting spending, and managing payroll and client billing
• Supervising production crews, technical directors, and production facility managers and handle contracts
• Designing, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and digital systems to maximize productivity, operational efficiency  output and quality

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Experience:  Minimum seven (7) years of experience of executive/operational experience in production, with proficiency in budgeting, team leadership and workflow optimization.

Experience may be substituted on a year-by-year basis for up to four years of education from an accredited College or University in a related field
