Requirements

Key Responsibilities: Provide on site primary care services to youths in DJS facility during scheduled clinics in medical unit located inside the detention center.
Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical exams. Evaluate and manage routine sick visits, minor injuries etc. as needed.
Reproductive & Sexual Health: Counsel on and manage STI screenings, contraception, and menstrual disorders.
Care Coordination: Order diagnostic tests, imaging's as required and seamlessly refer patients to specialty services as needed. Work with other departments including behavior health and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
